DUBAI, 5 de febrero de 2020 \u2013<\/strong>GivePower<\/a>\u00a0se llev\u00f3 a casa el m\u00e1ximo reconocimiento a nivel mundial al recibir el Premio Global del Agua Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum por su tecnolog\u00eda \u00abSolar Water Farm\u00bb. El premio fue creado por Su Alteza el Jeque Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vicepresidente, primer ministro y gobernante de Dub\u00e1i, para alentar a las instituciones de investigaci\u00f3n, a las personas y a los innovadores de todo el mundo a desarrollar soluciones sostenibles e innovadoras a la escasez de agua que utilicen energ\u00eda solar. La Fundaci\u00f3n de Ayuda al Agua de los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos (Suqia) supervisa el premio, que cuenta con tres categor\u00edas principales: Premio a Proyectos Innovadores, Premio a la Investigaci\u00f3n y Desarrollo Innovadores y Premio a la Persona Innovadora. GivePower recibi\u00f3 el 1.\u00bast<\/sup>recibi\u00f3 el premio a los proyectos innovadores por su tecnolog\u00eda de desalinizaci\u00f3n y purificaci\u00f3n de agua en contenedores, alimentada con energ\u00eda solar, que puede implementarse r\u00e1pidamente en regiones costeras de todo el mundo que sufren de escasez de agua limpia. Estas \u00abgranjas solares de agua\u00bb pueden funcionar las 24 horas del d\u00eda, utilizando tecnolog\u00eda de almacenamiento en bater\u00edas, y est\u00e1n alojadas en contenedores de transporte de 20 pies. Son capaces de transformar hasta 70 000 litros de agua salobre o salada en agua potable limpia y saludable cada d\u00eda.
